Sage Summit 2012 Showcases Mobile and Usability Focus for Sage Software

Sage Software announced during the 2012 Summit conference for customers and business partners that the focus of new product development would be done around a variety of mobile solutions designed to help customers do business anytime, anywhere. The solutions that will integrate with Sage 50, Sage 100, Sage 300 ERP, Sage 500, X3, and Sage CRM will allow ERP Data to be Accessible from nearly any location or device. Businesses using Sage products can quickly review important data and react.
An example of some of the first apps to be released soon are outlined below. Review the sage keynote video for an actual customer using these applications. (Please note the names below are for description only and have not be finalized.)

Sage Sales:  App to allow reps to enter and review orders in a mobile environments including iPad, iPhone and Android. This app show product pictures, order details and inventory quantities. Takes mobile payments using the secure payment vault, Sage Exchange. Two apps will be available in the sales arena one for the rep and one for the manager. (tablet compliant)

Sage Servicer:  App to allow entry of time and parts in the field by service technicians as well as collect payments. (tablet compliant)

Sage Bookkeeper Assistant:  Approve orders or service entries by the office before update and show which tickets are ready to process. (web based)

Sage Delinquent Accounts: An application to review and create actionable items for past due accounts. (web based).
